Using FileAssurity
Key Manager - Other People's Keys Tab
Keys to protect files for other people, or to verify files signed by other people with a self-signed key (i.e. generated by FileAssurity Key Manager) are shown in this tab.
You can add, delete and import other people's keys and edit their associated notes. Please also refer to 'Key Manager, General Dialog Usage' for these operations. Information specific to this tab is given below.
Importing Keys
You may want to import other peoples keys into Key Manager so you can protect files for them (that only they can access) or verify files that they have signed with a self-signed key.
Deleting Keys
If a person tells you their key has been compromised or withdrawn then you should delete it from here as soon as possible.
NOTE: Make sure that information you are given about the status of keys is correct before deleting keys - do not believe information coming from a source you cannot verify. You may want to back up your keystore before you delete any keys. See Keystore Logon & Security.
